Embracing Change to Feel Fully Alive

So many of us are absolutely looking back at 2020 and 2021 as years that brought in major change, growth, evolution of self, and reset. This time has been challenging for so many of us; but I also think there has been a true beauty in the resiliency and strength we’ve seen in ourselves and the tremendous transformation that has happened in front of our eyes. That growth and transformation is so personal and unique to each of us obviously – but I am in awe of YOU and your choice to keep on showing up, even when it feels like it might be easier to just “sit this one out.”

“Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love.” - Hamilton Wright Mabie.

In many ways, I think that 2021 brought an element of starting over and rebuilding, to help support the search of finding the most authentic parts of ourselves. As you've heard me say many times, I’m a creature of habit and 2021 certainly continued to force me to adapt (and to be patient!) in seeing how so many things needed to unfold. My own journey and growth through the past two years have also made me think of many of you too – so many of you have shared your stories, journeys, adventures, and moments with me about life being flipped upside down, the epiphanies and realizations that have come forward, and the courage you mustered up to stand your ground! It requires a lot of inner strength, self-love, resilience, faith, and confidence to be authentic and strong -- I’m so proud of each of you! Learning to treat yourself with love, grace, compassion, and understanding – tough stuff, right?!

However, if you can mull on the idea that the purpose of our soul is to always evolve, that we are never really a finished product, and that life is a continuous process of becoming - I promise you that you will find yourself and become that best version of YOU!

Through every little thing you do, through every word you say, and through every action you take, YOU are meant to discover more and more about yourself. You can continue to discover pieces of your inner journey, your life path, and the purpose and meaning of your own life. And of course, life is constantly changing, constantly evolving, and constantly renewing itself. Since life is what flows through all of us, we ourselves need to constantly embrace change in order for us to feel fully alive – and as we know, it's not always easy.

If you’ve taken an Intuitive or Mediumship Workshop with me, you’ve heard me talk about “Surrendering to Spirit.” In theory, it’s making a conscious choice to surrender to what is in our control and especially what isn’t, for an outcome of ease and joy. And no matter how hard and difficult it might be, learning to accept the situation you are in as if you have chosen it (and trust me, this takes practice!) and to embrace your current reality to start this shift moving. As you begin to figure out how to make peace with the present moment, you’ll find a natural shift of being at peace all throughout your journey. When we make peace with this idea that life is a journey, not a destination, we get into the habit of appreciating and enjoying each moment life sends our way.

Consider taking some steps to throw away all fears, all excuses, all limitations, and then plunge boldly into the thick of life. Live each day as if it were your last and each moment as if it were the only moment you had left. Make the best of every second, of every experience, and of every interaction life sends your way. Take chances, make mistakes, have no fear of failure. Make sure that no matter what you do and no matter what path you walk upon, you have peace, tranquility, joy, love, happiness and fulfillment running through your veins. Be authentic - stand up for what you believe in and hold your head up high knowing you’ve done the very best that you can each and every day.

And of course and perhaps most importantly -- thank yourself for being brave enough to keep moving through 2021 with tenacity and persistence to keep being your best self! Thank yourself for all of your courage, your strength, wisdom, and confidence. Thank yourself for all your efforts and all the work you do each day to make YOU the best version of yourself, no matter how cathodic life may feel at times -- YOU’VE GOT THIS!

I sincerely wish you and your families a peaceful holiday season, filled with love, health, healing, laughter, and truly whatever you may need these holidays to be and represent for your own spirit. Thank you again for your continued support, kindness, and love. As always...it's such an honor getting to serve Spirit and work with each of you.
