Navigating Grief, Change & Spirit’s Presence: Finding Hope in Life’s Transitions

Change, loss, and grief are part of life’s journey—but they don’t have to be walked alone. Whether you’re mourning a loved one, facing a major life shift, or simply feeling unsteady, Spirit is always near—offering signs, support, and love. In this post, we explore the energetic role of grief, how to recognize messages from Spirit, and the power of spiritual tools to guide you through life’s biggest transitions. Discover how mediumship, manifestation, and energy healing can help you move through grief with clarity, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose.

If you've been getting my newsletters for a while now, you know that one of the roles that I hold nearest and dearest is the work that I do as a Medium. A huge portion of my day to day is filled with the most intimate details of someone's grief process and talking with their loved-ones (fur and human!);  there isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel honored that I am able to hold that space for another person and make those beautiful connections.  And of course, because I’m a big softy, I always go back and forth about whether someone wants to read a newsletter that talks about grief.  There have been so many conversations over the last month alone, with many of you being knee deep in this journey – I think I'll honor the nudge from Spirit and share some comforting words and thoughts around navigating this journey.

Not that I’m wishing away the Fall - it’s one of my favorite seasons – as the seasons do start to shift, so do our lives - sometimes gently, and other times with a force that leaves us feeling unsteady. Change, loss, and grief are part of this life, and they can bring about deep emotions that are both challenging and transformative. But just like the trees shedding their leaves in autumn 🍂, we, too, have seasons of letting go.

Maybe you're in a season of grief 😢, saying goodbye to someone or something dear to your heart. Or perhaps you're navigating a major life change—a job, a relationship, or even a personal transformation. Whatever season you’re in, I want to remind you that it’s okay to feel what you’re feeling. Grief isn’t linear, and healing doesn’t follow a straight path. One minute you might feel strong and grounded, and the next, you’re overcome with emotion because of a memory, a song 🎶, or a passing thought. And guess what? That’s perfectly, absolutely a-okay! 💗

In my work as a Medium and Healer I’ve witnessed firsthand how people move through these transitions. I’ve seen clients who are deep in their grief, but who find moments of peace and connection through spiritual guidance and healing. I’ve seen others, after a session of mediumship or energy work, walk away with a renewed sense of hope and clarity. And others who we end up just hugging a little bit longer, and sitting in that space of stillness and feeling.  Grief and loss are deeply personal, but we don’t have to navigate them alone. There is always support – whether from the physical world or the spiritual one. 🌟

The Role of Spirit in Grief and Loss ✨

For many of us, loss isn’t just about the physical absence of someone or something in our lives; it’s about the emotional void that follows. Mediumship offers a bridge between worlds – a way to connect with the energy and love of those who have passed on. I often tell my clients that those we’ve lost aren’t truly gone – they’ve simply changed form and are still, literally right next to us. They continue to love us up, support us, help to keep us out of trouble, and often even finding little ways to remind us that they’re still around. 💫

Have you ever felt a sudden sense of peace out of nowhere, or caught sight of a symbol that reminds you of a loved one?  That nudge – that’s Spirit gently tapping you on the shoulder, reminding you that you’re never really alone. I’ve had clients receive messages from loved ones through unexpected signs – a song that plays at the perfect moment 🎵, a feather found in an unlikely place 🪶, or a sensation that feels like a hug from beyond. 🤗

These connections bring comfort, reminding us that the love we shared doesn’t end – that love transcends time and space!  Spirit is always with us, and in moments of grief, this connection can be a source of profound healing. 🌿

Navigating the Uncertainty of Change 🌱

Alongside grief, we often find ourselves navigating significant life changes. Whether it’s the end of a chapter or the beginning of a new one, change can feel disorienting. But here’s the beautiful part: Change is where growth happens. 🌻 Like the caterpillar becoming the butterfly 🦋, we sometimes need to be in the cocoon of transformation to emerge stronger, lighter, and more in alignment with our soul’s purpose.

During times of transition, I encourage my clients to lean into their spiritual practices—whether it’s through Manifestation, Energy Work, or simply taking moments to sit in quiet reflection. When we connect with our higher selves, we gain clarity, find peace, and open the door to new possibilities. 🔮

  • Manifesting through Change: When life feels out of control, we can still shape our reality by setting powerful intentions. LITERALLY ONE OF MY GO-TO'S WHEN CHANGE OCCURS!! Even during times of loss, manifesting hope, love, and new beginnings can create space for healing. ✨

  • Energy Healing: As we go through change, our energy can feel stuck or heavy. Simple practices like grounding 🌍, clearing our energy field, or getting energy work done can help us release what no longer serves us and welcome in new energy. 🌟

Change is uncomfortable, but it’s also magical. 🪄 It’s where we shed old layers, rediscover who we are, and become more aligned with our purpose.  Nothing gives me greater joy than seeing people rediscover themselves after loss or change. It’s like watching a flower bloom after the winter frost – there’s beauty in the process, even if it feels uncertain at first. 🌸

Finding Hope in the Darkness 🌟

One of the most powerful things I’ve learned through my own journey with grief, loss, and change, AND through my work with so many of YOU is this: Hope is always within reach. 💖 It may not always look like a big, bright shining light—in fact, sometimes hope is just a soft flicker. It’s that little spark that keeps us moving forward, even when the road is tough.

If you’re feeling lost, weighed down by grief or change, remember this: you are allowed to take things one day at a time. You don’t have to “bounce back” or feel 100% better right away. Healing is a process, and there’s no right or wrong way to move through it. 🌿

Here are a few gentle reminders to carry with you through these times:

  1. Grief isn’t about forgetting: It’s about remembering, honoring, and finding ways to carry the love with you as you move forward. 🌹

  2. Spirit is always there: Your loved ones in spirit are still present in your life. They’re guiding you, supporting you, and reminding you that love never dies. 🕊

  3. You are allowed to find joy: It’s okay to laugh, smile, and experience moments of happiness, even while you’re grieving or going through change. Joy and grief can coexist. 🌈

  4. Small steps lead to healing: Each small step you take—whether it’s reaching out for support, sitting in meditation, or journaling your feelings—helps you move toward healing. 💪

Tools for Navigating Change 🧘‍♀️

As you go through your own seasons of change, here are a few practices I recommend (and use personally!) to help stay grounded and connected to yourself:

  • Daily Grounding: Take 3-5 minutes each morning to ground yourself. Visualize roots growing from your feet, anchoring you to the earth 🌍, and feel the support of the Universe around you.

  • Set Small Intentions: When life feels overwhelming, set small, manageable intentions for your day. Maybe it’s to find a moment of peace 🌸, to take a walk outside 🌿, or to simply breathe deeply. 🌬

  • Connect with Spirit: Whether through meditation, prayer, or in a Reading stay open to the guidance that Spirit has to offer. Your loved ones are always near, and their presence can bring comfort and clarity during times of uncertainty. ✨

Holding Hope in Your Heart 💫

And one more thought about HOPE!  Hope isn’t about pretending everything is perfect – it’s about trusting that there is light, even in the darkest moments. In my sessions, whether it’s through Mediumship, Manifestation, or Energy Healing, I always aim to leave my clients with that sense of hope and possibility. There’s always something more waiting for you, even when you can’t see it yet. 🌟  And if you’re feeling the weight of change or loss right now, I’m here to remind you that this is part of your journey. You are stronger than you know, and with each step forward, you are moving closer to healing, peace, and joy.  Seasons change, but hope, love, and Spirit are always constant. 🌻💖

And with that said…whether we get to connect on an upcoming Trip across the Atlantic, an intimate Retreat to shift your energy and fill you with love, in an exciting Class or Workshop in the new space, a Holistic Harmony Saturday, or one-on-one for a Reading or Energy Work, I’m so glad you’re along for this beautiful journey with me.  As always...it's such an honor getting to serve Spirit and work with each of you.  Thank you for all your referrals, kind words, positive energy, and well, just being you...YOU are why I love the work I get to do each and every day.💗

Sending you Love, Light, and a reminder that Hope is Always with YOU
